A charming apartment in the heart of Florence.
Set within the atmospheric streets of the San Ambrogio district, this traditional Florentine apartment invites you to experience the immersive beauty of the city. Originally built in the late 19th century, the owners have sensitively restored this space into a private sanctuary – a quiet place to relax, unwind and savour the magic of Italian living. And stepping inside, you’ll find every detail sings with the artistic depth of Florence. From the elegant styling and antique furnishings to the gentle lighting, there’s a welcoming quality to this home that makes you want to settle in and stay. You’ll find the sitting room lends itself perfectly to relaxing mornings with a coffee and later with golden-hour aperitifs, while the bedrooms provide a wonderful sense of calm. And to ensure you experience the height of rejuvenation, the larger bathroom includes a hot tub. Outside, it’s just a ten–minute stroll to Piazza di Santa Croce and the Basilica while Ponte Vecchio is a twenty-minute walk away. And for an authentic taste of Florence, you’ll find a wonderful local market located next to this home.
The Apartment
The main bedroom
This is the largest bedroom of the apartment. Almost 280 Ft2 it has a double bed and if needed an extra single one. A round table with two chairs, a comfortable three places coach. The wall wardrobe contains a small electronic safety box. The large internal bathroom has shower and bathtub with Jacuzzi system. Air conditioning.
The second bedroom
This bedroom is a triple one that can be arranged with a double bed + a single one or three singles beds. It has got a dresser + a wall wardrobe. A kettle with tea facilities and a large bathroom with shower and bathtub. Air conditioning.
The sitting room
This is the most characteristic room of the house, my grandmother favorite, where you can feel the atmosphere of real florentine house. A marble fireplace with an ancient mirror above, chairs, a sofa and a little table complete the forniture. An antique chest which is the basis for an HD Tv and the walls decorated with many paintings and portraits of the family.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with Fridge/freezer, Oven, microwave, dishwasher. A six people table for all the meals of the day.
The main bedroom’s bathroom
This large bathroom has got shower and bathtub with Jacuzzi system.
The Fireplace
In the sitting room you can admire this marble fireplace and its ancient mirror above.
